Wheel Blast Equipment propels abrasive grain against the work piece by means of centrifugal force delivered by a motorized blast wheel(s), or by high velocity compressed air, in an air blast operation.
Generally, air blast applications involve fragile parts, and lower volume production requirements. Equipment is available in many sizes and can be fitted with single or multiple blast nozzles. Glass beads, aluminum oxide, or other abrasive aggregate is typically used in this application.
