The Original Black Beauty Abrasive is Available in Three Standard Grades:

• Medium – General purpose blasting for maintenance and general repairs for the removal of rust, paint, mill scale, and other surface coatings. ¼” minimum nozzle orifice suggested for normal blasting applications to produce a 3.0 to 4.8 Mil profile.
• Fine – Especially suited for new construction and for the removal of light grade rust or paint removal in applications where a reduced surface profile is desired. 3/16” minimum nozzle orifice suggested for normal blasting applications to produce a 2.0 to 3.8 Mil profile.
• Extra Fine – Extra fine Black Beauty® abrasives are ideal for applications of light blasting and cleaning, where a minimum anchor pattern, including brush-off blast and in operations of high pressure water blasting systems. 1/8” minimum nozzle orifice suggested for normal blasting applications to produce a 1.0 to 2.6 Mil profile.

These Black Beauty Iron Products Are Available in Three Standard Grades:

• Fine – Especially suited for new construction and for the removal of light grade rust or paint removal in applications where a reduced surface profile is desired. 3/16” minimum nozzle orifice suggested for normal blasting applications to produce a 2.0-3.5 Mil profile.
• Extra Fine – Perfectly suited for applications where light blasting requiring a clean and minimal anchor profile is needed. This includes a light brush-off blast process and is also suitable for high pressure water blast systems. 1/8” minimum nozzle orifice suggested for normal blasting applications to produce a 1.0 – 2.5 Mil profile.
